What renters insurance to choose?

I am transferring to Durham and my landlord requires Renters Insurance for $300.000 (for apartment).
What can you suggest to take, which is cheaper?
I don't have much stuff to afraid about its loss. But as I understand talking with 2 insurance companies they provide renters insurance with content together.
May be you know such a company which can suggest only renters insurance.
Any help is appreciated.

Frankly, I didn't know about this requirements. Many years ago when I was renting it was optional.
