Помогите с адресом в Северной Каролине

Здравствуйте уважаемые форумчане,
мы с женой выиграли грин-кард и 19 октября планируем лететь к Вам в NC а точнее в Шарлотт.
Так получилось, что знакомых у нас в Штатах нет, а дальние знакомые знакомых, которых мы нашли и чей адрес указывали на интервью - недавно переехали в Техас.
Понимаю что это не совсем уместно просить адрес у незнакомых людей, но ситуация у нас складывается патовая поэтому и пишу.
Если вдруг кто то сможет помочь - будем очень благодарны.

Вы приезжаете,а где жить будете ?Можно же на свой адрес получить гринкарту.

Можно, но для этого надо сначала снять квартиру, а адрес надо менять когда проходишь таможню в NY. Жить будем первое время в гостинице, пока квартиру не снимем.

А можно вам просто забронировать гостиницу и использовать этот адрес? Если все равно вначале там жить...

Я немного озадачена тем, что необходим адрес. Такое ощущение, что вы недопоняли что-то. Человек выигрывает лотерею, естетвенно необязательно у вас должен быть американский адрес. Вы же не по приглашению едите? Просто логически я не понимаю, хотя как всегда в правителственной бюрократии зачастую нет логики. В любом случае я посоветую вам перечитать требования и если действительно от вас требуют адрес, то вместо того чтобы просить адрес незнакомых вам людей, попросите пусть и техасский адресс друзей. Разницы то никакой, вы же не будете жить ни там, ни там.

To Marcell: Гостиницу конечно можно забронировать, но в среднем гринки идут 30-40 дней, а столько жить в гостинице - довольно накладно, а если там не жить то и адрес соответственно не дадут.
To Mogilev1: Я то же логику не совсем понимаю но в форме DS-230 есть графа в которой нужно указать адрес на который потом вышлют гринки, причем обязательно с пометкой care of, то есть на кого то. Так что крутись-вертись, но адрес укажи.

Care of - свое имя еше раз повторите, не значит, что нужно обязательно "через кого-го".
